Senior Development Manager
Reporting to the Chief Development Officer, the Senior Development Manager is responsible for managing donor and community engagement projects to contribute to fundraising revenue goals. This position is part of the Development and Communications team, which includes the Chief Development Officer, Director of Marketing and Communications, and Communications Associate. The Senior Development Manager works closely with all team members. This position may supervise college or high school interns, primarily in the summer. The work is excellent for someone looking to deepen their skills in a broad range of nonprofit development, and event planning activities.
Essential Duties
• Manage donor database, inputting donations, tracking gifts, running reports, preparing acknowledgement letters,
• Track department gifts and expenses. Reconcile revenue and expenses with accounting department on a monthly basis.
• Plan, lead and help execute special events, including managing event logistics, volunteer and community recruitment and oversight, financial tracking, and sponsor stewardship and recognition.
• Liaise with corporate and foundation partners. Organize and lead corporate service days.
• Perform research on existing and prospective donors and organizations as well as create donor briefing documents and donor impact reports as needed.
• Assist with the management of various Dimock stakeholders, such as: board members, corporate and foundation partners, committee members, community partners and individual donors. Provide administrative support including meeting scheduling, preparing and distributing materials needed, taking minutes etc.
• In collaboration with the Chief Development Officer, write grant proposals and reports as needed.
• Coordinate annual appeal mailing projects and write appeal letters and other collateral.
• Supervise Development Associate and interns and additional volunteers as needed.
• General Office management duties as needed.

• You have the flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and occasional weekends as needed for special events and meetings.

Education & Experience Requirements
• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• A minimum of five years of Development experience is required.
Preferred Requirements
• Experience with CRM database is preferred.
• Nonprofit event planning experience preferred.
Schedule
• Hybrid Position – Option to work two days remotely per week after three months of employment.
Other Duties

Compensation: $70,000 - $80,000
