Social Worker / Mental Health Counselor

Our Behavioral Health Services programs provide residential and outpatient treatment for those struggling with mental illness, developmental disabilities, or substance use disorders. For many individuals, our programs literally save lives.
Under the direction of the Clinical Director and in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of medical professionals, clinicians, counselors and Behavioral Health Specialists; the Social Worker / Mental Health Counselor is responsible for providing clinical services including completing biopsychosocial assessments, individual and group therapy and care coordination for patients admitted Clinical Stabilization Services. The Counselor provides patient-centered, evidence-based treatment and supports to facilitate the realization of personal potential for Clinical Stabilization patients.

Duties may include frequent lifting. Will require sitting, standing and walking for extended periods of time.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
Thursday - Monday schedule. Hours may vary and rotating evenings are possible though shifts typically begin between 10am-12pm and end between 6pm and 8pm.
Required Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a closely related field required.
• Minimum one (1) year experience working in a substance use disorder treatment setting.
• Intermediate to advanced computer skills required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a company vehicle required.

Salary: Expected range is $60,000 to $74,000 per year depending on licensure and experience.
