Responsible for clinical dental services, preventive dental care in a diverse community health center setting.
Provide dental health care for patients as part of the Petitioner's care team, across a life spectrum.
Provide basic dental screenings and preventive interventions, such as cleanings, sealants, topical fluoride applications, regular oral prophylaxis and periodontal maintenance, and oral hygiene education.
Perform diagnostic services, including X-rays and oral health risk screenings. Provide fillings, extractions and dentures as needed.
Provide emergency care for conditions that can be managed in the outpatient setting e.g., dental abscesses.
Review and sign off on all transition of dental related care documentation from patients and work with team on systems to follow up with any patient's outstanding or traditional needs.
Be accessible for clinical care both in person and after-hours consultations as per a clinical rotation schedule.
Document all communication and data collection between patients.
Participate in clinic specific projects, such as internal improvement projects, research projects and grants.
Requirements
Must have a Dental Medicine/DDS degree or its equivalent and at least 1 year of experience as aDentist or in a related role
Must also have a license to practice Dentistry in the state of Massachusetts
