JOB SUMMARY:
Under the supervision of the Program Director, the Program Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the acute treatment services program. You are required to have demonstrated experience in staff supervision, program coordination, and creating a safe, recovery-focused environment. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential, especially in high-stress situations. Experience managing acute treatment settings, supporting multidisciplinary teams, and upholding program structure is preferred. Familiarity with basic computer programs and documentation systems is also important for success in this role.
Essential Job Tasks:
Assures safety and support to all patients
Communicates effectively and maintains professional/ethical boundaries
Problem solve during high stress situations
Maintain a physical, mental, and spiritually safe environment and workplace culture
Recognizes the importance of individual and cultural differences that influence behavior and thought processes
Be a part of a rotating on-call to support addiction service programs
Supervise and support Unit Coordinator, BHS staff, and patients
Facilitate a weekly community meeting with the patients that outlines program expectations and provides an opportunity for patients to give feedback
Attend to the overall operation and management of the living environment (including food and supply stock, building and technology maintenance, etc.)
Oversee and ensure that the program expectations are being upheld by all staff
Ensure that the unit is clean, organized, and safe
Works with leadership team and supervisor to develop and support programming
Other duties as assigned

This job operates in a clinical environment.
Physical Demands
Duties may require standing and walking, or sitting for long periods of time.
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelors Degree. Masters degree preferred. Training and experience in inpatient health care services administration. The ideal candidate will be a clinical, "hands on" leader who enjoys developing his/her team.
Experience with addiction treatment and trauma focused treatment strongly preferred.
Requires a minimum of one year of experience working with a vulnerable population.
Must have at least 1 year of supervisory or administrative experience in a fast paced, clinically challenging and rewarding environment.
